Introduction

'Whatfix Comments' was created with the goal of becoming a collaboration platform that anyone could use across different browsers on the internet. The concept was born during a hackathon conducted within the organization, where the objective was simple: users should be able to leave comments for each other on the internet. We questioned whether this was a pain point and if people really needed it. Additionally, we explored ways to generate revenue from this platform. The rest of the case study explains how we addressed these questions.

Conclusion

During all this design iterations and research being conducted, there was a lot more of the interesting things happening in the background. The pricing model, the framework, how long should a comment stay, the order in which it should show up, the admin controls for workspaces and many more. It was fun and a huge learning for me. Forever grateful to the team for such an opportunity
